Continuing a Legacy

Ms. Vore has and continues to shape the lives of many wrestlers on the Lorain Wrestling teams and much like her - Wrestling is a life-changing sport that can instill many valuable skills and lessons in its participants.

Wrestling requires discipline and strength, teaching young people to push themselves, respect their opponents, and to never give up. Wrestling is on the rise, and women’s wrestling is seeing unprecedented growth, opening the sport to a whole new generation and bringing in new audiences. 

This scholarship seeks to support young women who are passionate about wrestling and have been impacted by their participation in it.

Any female high school student who is involved in wrestling may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
